Tensions between Canada and India have escalated since the assassination of a Sikh independence advocate in June. His wife gave birth to their second child.Spieth posted on social media that his wife gave birth to a girl named Sophie. After an SUV crashed into a pool at a South Florida home, a Broward Sheriff’s Office Detective rushed to save two people that were trapped inside. Now that detective is speaking out.When the SUV plunged into the home’s pool, several people rushed to the scene on a busy corner.The incident happened at the intersection of Southgate Boulevard and Rock Island Road, Friday night.Due to the crash, a fence was taken down. Three adults were injured after shots were fired in Northwest Miami-Dade. Miami Dade Fire Rescue responded to the scene, located at the corner store in the area of Northwest 64th Street and 18th Avenue in Miami, just before 1 p.m., Tuesday. All three injured were transported by ground to Jackson Memorial Main Trauma Center as trauma alerts. “There were two high-powered rifles that they recovered her from the scene. Who does in belong to? That still needs to be investigated,” said Miami-Dade Police Detective Alvaro Zabaleta said. According to police two people were standing at the corner store when a dark SUV pulled up at the scene. (CNN) — Bijou Phillips has filed for divorce from embattled actor Danny Masterson, according to public records.Phillips filed a petition for divorce on Monday in Santa Barbara. The pair were married in 2011 and share one daughter together.The filing comes less than two weeks after Masterson was sentenced to 30 years to life in prison for his conviction on two rape counts.“Ms. Phillips has decided to file for divorce from her husband during this unfortunate time. A judge has decided the Melrose woman who allegedly told a Muslim city councilor to “go back to her country” and assaulted the councilor’s husband last year must take sensitivity training. 68-year-old Joan DiTomaso admitted she pushed the husband of City Councilor Maya Jamaleddine back in December. The attack itself was captured on cellphone video Jamaleddine’s husband took after he confronted DiTomaso for targeting his wife, who was wearing a Muslim headscarf. “I did say ‘Go back to your country,’” DiTomaso said in court Tuesday. DiTomaso was not charged with a hate crime. Instead, she was charged for assaulting Jamaleddine’s husband. Jamaleddine’s husband was previously in court for DiTomaso’s arraignment in June.
